Also involves some job-related travel (less than 10% of time); exposure to risk of injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; and exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, and blood-borne or airborne pathogens.ShiftStaffing during hours of operation of the KY Clinic Pharmacy are 7:00 am - 9:00 pm Monday through Friday, and 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Saturday/Sunday. The current schedule for this particular position primarily reflect day shifts from 7:00 am - 5:30 pm with the exception of weekend rotation shifts (currently rotated every 5th weekend where weekday shifts become modified to accommodate the weekend shift). Possibility of working a 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday through Friday shift with weekend rotations as discussed above. Schedule/hours subject to change in order to accommodate staffing needs during pharmacy operating hours. Shift rotations to be discussed during interview. Participates in minimal holiday coverage rotation for our location open on holidays.Job SummaryThis position provides patient care in a fast-paced community pharmacy setting in the KY Clinic Pharmacy. Primary duties for the certified pharmacy technician(CPhT) include filling and distributing prescriptions in a busy retail-based setting. Certified Pharmacy Technicians may be allowed to complete other specialized duties as applicable by KY Board of Pharmacy law. This position supports specialized programs including the Kentucky AIDS Drug Assistance Program, Pharmacy Partners, and Mail Order services; and assists in our mission to ensure operational efficiency and high-quality customer service. The successful Pharmacy Senior Technician I will be reliable, punctual, works well within a team, and possesses exceptional communication and strong interpersonal skills. The ability and desire to work and grow in a fast-paced, complex, and ever-changing field within a dynamic and cutting-edge pharmacy is essential for individuals in this position.This position is eligible for a recruitment bonus.
