SummaryJob Description:Food Service SupervisorFull-Time, First ShiftThe Hospital Food Service Unit plays a vital role in providing nutritious and well-balanced meals for patients, visitors, and staff. The unit is dedicated to ensuring that all meals are prepared in accordance with dietary guidelines, patient preferences, and specific medical needs. Key functions include meal planning, preparation, and delivery for various dietary requirements such as low-sodium, diabetic-friendly, and gluten-free options, all while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. The unit also manages the cafeteria and catering services for hospital events, offering a variety of menu options for staff and visitors. The team consists of skilled chefs, dietitians, and food service workers who work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure that the nutritional needs of patients are met to support their recovery and overall well-being.Job Description:- This position supervises, coordinates, trains, and counsels employees.- Assists in maintaining and improving standards of food preparation and service.- Maintains high standards of safety and sanitation.- Ensures all general duties are performed in the assigned areas as required to ensure high quality customer service.
