Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description
The Production Worker supports the manufacturing of residential and commercial insulation by handling, labeling, and preparing product barrels for shipment. This role involves working in a clean, organized warehouse environment, performing general production and packaging tasks, and assisting with material movement throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
Receive empty barrels from incoming truckloads and unload them onto pallets, typically handling 40–50 barrels per truckload.
Place labels and caps on barrels accurately to ensure proper identification and product integrity.
Wrap pallets once they are filled by the operator to secure product for safe storage and transport.
Strap drums securely on pallets to maintain stability during movement and shipping.
Push, pull, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds as part of daily production and warehouse activities.
Assist with general labor and general production tasks as needed to support overall manufacturing operations.
Operate a forklift as needed if prior forklift experience is available, following all safety procedures.
Follow established production, packaging, and safety processes to maintain a clean, efficient, and safe work area.
Work collaboratively with a small, tight-knit warehouse team to meet production goals and deadlines.
Be available to work overtime as needed to support production demands.
Essential Skills
Ability to push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Experience performing general labor or general production tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort working in a production or warehouse setting with repetitive manual tasks.
Attention to detail when labeling, capping, wrapping, and strapping barrels and pallets.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to safety and production procedures.
Willingness to work overtime when required to meet operational needs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
Prior manufacturing experience is an advantage.
Forklift operating experience is preferred and will be utilized as needed.
Experience with packaging, palletizing, and material handling is beneficial.
Ability to work effectively as part of a small, close-knit team.

Work Environment
The role is based in a clean, organized warehouse that is non-climate controlled. You will work closely with a small team, currently consisting of four people, with plans to add two more team members. Standard hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime worked as needed to support production demands. The environment involves typical warehouse and production conditions, including manual material handling, palletizing, and operating around industrial equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewisville, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
