Job Title: Prep Cook/Dishwasher Hours: Part Time (20 hours) or Full Time (30 hours) Wage: $13.50/hour Job Description: Located in the heart of the state, Elks Pine Meadows sits atop a hill just outside of Lewistown, Montana. Come join us and see why we believe Elks Pine Meadows is the best in the center of our great Montana state. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role requires a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive delicious and safe meals that meet their dietary needs. Duties: • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. • Assist in meal preparation and food handling to ensure timely service. • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently • Keep dish area clean, organized, and free of clutter or hazards • Load and unload the dish machine properly • Take out trash and recycling regularly • Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks (like sweeping, mopping, or wiping down surfaces) • Follow all health and safety guidelines • Support the kitchen team as needed --- we're all in this together! Qualifications: o Proficient in meal preparation and food handling techniques. o Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking methods and cuisines. o Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen environment. o Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. o Experience in catering or working within a dietary department is a plus. o Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
