Lewiston. Hibbard's Original Frozen Custard. Shift Lead Supervisor. $23 - $24/hour.
Shift Lead Needed. Fast-Paced Frozen Custard Shop needs dedicated Shift Leads to help our unique business continue to thrive and grow! Seasonal business running from mid-March to early November. Days/Nights/Weekends/Holiday availability is a must. Excellent customer service skills required. Supervisory experience preferred.
Duties * Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company standards. * Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development to enhance team performance. * Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. * Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally. * Enforce health and safety policies, including food handling procedures and cleanliness standards. * Support kitchen management by coordinating food production, catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed.
Skills * Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision with a strong background in casual dining or fine dining environments. * Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and food safety protocols. * Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential. * Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to train staff, manage teams, and oversee shift operations effectively. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns diplomatically. * Experience supervising food production, catering, bar services, or banquet operations is preferred. * Ability to manage inventory control processes accurately while maintaining cost efficiency. * Familiarity with hospitality management principles including budgeting, training & development, and staff scheduling. * Exceptional communication skills combined with the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment. * Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations applicable to the food industry including casual dining or hotel settings.
