Human Resources Coordinator

Role Mission

We are looking for an energetic, organized, and people-focused Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for future teammates, ensuring every candidate has a stellar experience from the moment they apply until their first day on the job. Working closely with our Human Resources Manager, you'll help us find the right talent to fuel our growth.

 Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Screening: Post jobs to various boards, proactively scout for talent on LinkedIn, and review incoming resumes to identify top-tier candidates.

• Interview Coordination: Manage the logistics of the hiring process, including scheduling interviews, sending calendar invites, and acting as the primary point of contact for candidate questions.

 • Interviewing: Conduct initial phone screens to assess culture fit and basic qualifications before passing candidates to the HR Manager or Department Leads.

 • Onboarding Support: Once a candidate signs, you'll take the lead on preparing their first week---setting up equipment, gathering paperwork, and ensuring they feel welcomed on Day 1.

 • Candidate Experience: Ensure every applicant receives a timely "yes" or "no," maintaining our brand reputation as a great place to work. Additional Job Responsibilities

Onboarding & Integration

• New Hire Logistics: Facilitate the transition of new employees into the company by coordinating start dates and initial requirements.

• Orientation Support: Assist in delivering orientation materials and ensuring new team members have the resources needed to be successful from Day 1.

Administrative & Operations Support

 • Documentation & Compliance: Assist the HR Manager with the processing, filing, and maintenance of confidential employee records and departmental paperwork.

• Process Improvement: Help document and streamline internal HR workflows to increase overall efficiency.

 • Internal Communications: Assist in the distribution of company-wide announcements and the maintenance of internal HR resources.

• General Assistance: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR Manager on various people-related projects and initiatives as needed.

What You Bring to the Table

• People Skills: You genuinely enjoy talking to people and can represent our company culture with enthusiasm.

• Organizational Skills: You can juggle multiple interview schedules and candidate files without breaking a sweat.

• Communication Skills: Excellent writing skills for job descriptions and professional, warm emails to candidates.

• Tech Savvy: Familiarity with LinkedIn or an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is a plus, but a quick ability to learn new software is a must.

• Discretion: You'll be handling sensitive personal data and must maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Preferred) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or other relevant fields.

• 1--3 Years of Administrative Experience: HR preferred, but could include experience in office management or customer service.

• HRIS Familiarity: Experience using Human Resources Information Systems.

• Recruiting Support: Experience coordinating interviews, posting jobs, or handling paperwork.
