At TAC, we are more than just individuals; United in passion and purpose, we collaboratively breathe life into these extraordinary opportunities.

Our team and what we'll accomplish together

You'll support the heartbeat of our Lethbridge cattle veterinary practice — a dynamic team dedicated to advancing animal health and agricultural excellence. In this role, you'll coordinate operations that keep our clinic running smoothly, strengthen client relationships, and enable our veterinarians, nutritionists, and technicians to focus on what they do best. If you thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your organizational skills directly impact team success and client satisfaction, this is the role for you.

What you'll do

  • Partner with the veterinary, nutrition, and technical teams to coordinate clinic scheduling, appointments, and on-call service coverage that keeps operations running smoothly

  • Manage front office operations including client communications, appointment scheduling, invoice processing, and account inquiries with professionalism and attention to detail

  • Lead workflow coordination across invoicing, order processing, and month-end activities, collaborating with team members to ensure accuracy and timeliness

  • Support inventory management, special orders, and courier logistics while maintaining clear communication with internal partners and external suppliers

  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by identifying workload pressures, supporting task coverage, and fostering accountability and mutual respect

  • Maintain documentation and compliance standards that support clinic operations and regulatory requirements

  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and suggesting solutions that enhance efficiency and client service.

What you bring

  • Proven experience in administrative, operations, or office management roles in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and shifting demands

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and team members

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and support colleagues across different functions

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools (or willingness to quickly learn)

  • Comfort with technology and a track record of learning new systems and software efficiently

  • Agricultural background or familiarity with the cattle industry, or demonstrated interest in learning about agricultural operations.

Great-to-haves

  • Experience with veterinary clinic management software or similar specialized business systems

  • Background in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration

  • Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity supporting team members.

At TELUS Agriculture and Consumer Goods, we pledge our commitment to actively promote diversity, equity, inclusion, reconciliation and accessibility. We celebrate and value your unique perspective and life experiences, and we invite you to join us in our journey of growth and learning. Together, we aspire to foster a global community where all individuals are respected, heard, and can authentically bring their whole selves to work.

A significant and sustained effort will be made to support candidates from equity-deserving groups and with lived experience of marginalization and oppression (including Black, Indigenous and People of Colour, LGBTQIA2S+ and persons with disabilities). We offer accommodation for applicants with disabilities during the recruitment process.
