Position Overview The Mold Technician A will perform, duties from, setting up injection molds, auxiliary equipment, following defined process, minor maintenance, safety checks on equipment, and troubleshooting as needed. Schedule: 12-Hour Rotating Night Shift Hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM 2-2-3 rotation (work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days; then alternates) Also available in Day Shift Pay rate: $27/hr + $2 shift differential Description and Responsibilities Work safely and efficiently Follow pre-defined press schedule for job specific requirements Sets-up production molding jobs, including Mold setting, Process documents, Materials, and Auxiliary equipment Gather all process data, job information and enters into injection molding machine and auxiliary equipment and starts production job Handle raw material Verify product meets customer and quality requirements, perform trouble shooting when necessary Perform routine minor equipment maintenance and safety checks on molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Participate in WD training programs. Participate in plant-wide safety efforts. Provide plant-wide support. Other duties as assigned Qualification and Experience High school education. One year post-secondary education in injection molding. One year as Mold Technician plus 3 years as Set-Up Technician or equivalent combination of training and experience or demonstrated capability to perform the duties of the job.
