Adecco US, Inc. Product Quality Coordinator in Leonia, New Jersey

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Quality Product Coordinator for our partner in Leonia, NJ.

The anticipated hourly wage for this position is between $22 and $23.14. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Work Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm

The Coordinator Product Quality is responsible for routine submission of samples to QC laboratories.. Corresponds with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the QC laboratory.

Key Responsibilities

List the main results which the job must deliver in order to achieve its purpose:

• Responsible for providing status updates to other departments regarding the submission of samples (R&D, consumer complaints, (sample handling and control, data entry, etc).

• Provides daily and weekly updates to Management regarding the status of samples undergoing testing in QC

• Responsible for processing incoming sample submissions (i.e raw material, bulk, contract bulk, special samples etc.).

• Performs electronic systems transactions in order to release material on a continuous basis.

• Communicates with appropriate personnel concerning re-sampling and to acquire missing information such as documentation and specification issues.

• Supports and assists the facility during annual audits.

• Responsible for creating and maintaining reports including but not limited to quality data trending, informational spreadsheets, laboratory log spreadsheets, etc.

• Reviews certificates of analysis (CoA) from raw material suppliers, QA/QC reports and other quality documents.

• Drafts certificate of analysis (CoA) for review by authorized personnel.

• Provides information related to the testing of Customer Complaints as part of the investigation process.

• Assist Quality Management with the coordination and submission of outside lab samples and results.

• Creates Purchase Orders for the laboratory supplies and manages the receipts and invoices through the electronic systems.

• Provides training and technical support to the Quality Coordinator group regarding raw material testing requirements and bulk specifications.

• Leads initiative for continual improvement for the team.

• Follows and complies with all Quality Lab Services principles, ISO 17025, SHE principles, Nestlé GLP, and Nestlé QMS.

• Works with higher-level technical and scientific personnel as needed to learn more about analytic issues, testing requirements, new product specifications which may include new methods.

• Other duties may be assigned as required.

Qualifications / Certifications

• Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office.

• Associates / Bachelor's degree(preferred)

Proficient with basic Mathematical and analytical skills

Critical Experiences

• . Computer literacy, Math, Basic statistics, Office, and technical, required.

• Proficient with computer programs such as AS400, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PLM/PQM, SAP.

• Able to read and understand Chemistry, micro-biology terminology and documentation

• Good English verbal and written skills. Basic mathematic skills.

Working Conditions

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk and hear.

• The employee may be required to sit for periods of time; reach with hands and arms.

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

• Use of a standard computer keyboard for data entry.

• Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish and shellfish

Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.14 per hour
