Job Title: Forklift Operator - Shipping
Job Description
This temporary position involves using a forklift to move skids of finished products and stage them in the shipping area. The role requires collecting products from the production area, conducting inventory documentation, and ensuring accuracy and timely shipping. Responsibilities include RF scanning, loading and unloading box trucks or trailers, and using a shrink wrapper to complete the packaging process.
Responsibilities
Operate forklift to move and stage finished products in the shipping area.
Collect products from the production area and conduct inventory documentation.
Ensure accurate and timely shipping of products.
Perform RF scanning tasks.
Load and unload box trucks or trailers as needed.
Use a shrink wrapper to complete the packaging process for products on skids.
Essential Skills
Prior forklift experience.
Reliable attendance.
Ability to stand for an entire shift.
Attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior production/manufacturing experience preferred.

Work Environment
The work environment is loud, requiring hearing protection, and can be warm to hot due to heat emitted by machines. There may be a slight odor from plastic. Employees must wear a hair net, ear plugs, and safety glasses at all times. The position requires moving between multiple stations involved in inspecting and packaging products.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
