Job Title: Drafter/Designer
Job Description
The Drafter/Designer will primarily utilize AutoCAD Electrical to create one-line diagrams necessary for permitting, automation cabinet layouts, and data drops, along with some as-built drawings. Approximately 50% of the role involves drafting, while the remainder entails assisting project managers and estimators with various tasks such as project coordination, take-offs, and close-outs. This position offers a diverse range of experiences and exposure, with a strong emphasis on drafting as the core responsibility.
Responsibilities
Create one-line diagrams for permitting using AutoCAD Electrical.
Design automation cabinet layouts and data drop plans.
Draft as-built drawings.
Assist project managers and estimators with project coordination.
Perform take-offs and close-outs.
Engage in various tasks to support project management.
Skills & Qualifications
Proficient in AutoCAD
Strong drafting and designing skills.
Experience in project coordination.
Experience with project take-offs.
Previous experience as a project coordinator.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
