Responsibilities

  • Handle work ticket orders for national accounts received electronically or by phone, with a focus on outbound calls.

  • Qualify and verify customer requests accurately.

  • Check technicians in and out, and efficiently book and dispatch purchase orders to subcontractors or divisions.

  • Manage Customer Requests for service to ensure prompt and knowledgeable service, meeting customer satisfaction.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ year of customer service experience, with a preference for retail background over standard call center roles.

  • Proficient in Microsoft programs.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage high call volumes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous call center experience is a plus.

  • Solid tenure with at least one year at each previous position.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

Work in a large, friendly, and supportive 24/7 call center environment. Engage in high-volume, high-stress tasks requiring attention to detail. Handle approximately 150 inbound and 25 outbound calls per day. Shift details include Tuesday - Saturday 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sunday - Thursday 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM, and Friday - Monday 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM. Training occurs Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM in a classroom setting, followed by assigned shifts. The open cubicle environment requires business casual attire, permitting jeans but not tennis shoes. New hires can work from home after one year, with eligibility for day shifts after 6-9 months in the second shift role. Smoking or vaping is prohibited on campus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
