UPMC is excited to welcome a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), OP to our Endocrinology Associates, Outpatient team/office in Lemoyne!
Hours/Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm - No Weekends required!
This role offers Graduate LPN's and Experiences LPN's a Sign-On Bonus!
10% or less travel to our other offices in Carlisle and York. *Manager will discuss more details during interview

Responsibilities:
Draw blood.
Comply with requirements of appropriate regulatory agencies (i.e. OSHA, CLIA, PA Department of Health).
Administer medications including oral, SQ, IM and IV drip.
Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures and treatments.
Assess patient's general condition and take vital signs and weight.
Comply with all policies and procedures.
Perform IV therapy under direction of Registered Nurse.
Document all activities/interventions, patient/family responses, medication dispensed/prescribed, etc., in the medical record.
Maintain strict confidentiality related to medical records and other data.
Promote wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions.
Graduate of an approved LPN school of nursing.
1+ years clinical experience preferred.
Prior Endo experience preferred.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

*Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
