We are searching for the best talent for Associate Manufacturing Operator to be based in Leiden .

We are looking for an Associate Manufacturing Operator to join our Operations team and help deliver safe, high-quality products. In this entry support role you’ll execute defined tasks, follow standard procedures, and support internal teams to keep processes accurate, timely, and reliable — your work directly contributes to meeting production targets and maintaining compliance! This role works on a shift roster and requires a B1 level in Dutch or English.

As an Associate Manufacturing Operator, you will:

  • Implement production and administrative tasks by following standard operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices to meet the Operations unit’s production targets under direct supervision.

  • Document day-to-day activities, record gaps between target and actual activity status, and bring up concerns to leaders to protect quality, schedule, and compliance.

  • Enforce to the Code of Business Conduct, company policies, and applicable laws while demonstrating Johnson & Johnson’s Leadership Imperatives and Credo to maintain ethical and safe operations.

  • Maintain professional, efficient, and discreet communication and use independent judgement to support team needs and business results.

  • Lead your required training: complete courses on time and develop solid understanding of SOPs and GMP to ensure compliant, high-quality output.

  • Learn and apply process-improvement methods and standardized work to improve safety, quality, reliability, cost, and scheduling for your team.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Education & experience: Relevant MBO-2 diploma with at least 18 months’ meaningful experience, or a non-relevant MBO-2 diploma with at least 3 years’ meaningful experience.

  • Language: B1 level in Dutch or English is required.

  • Systems: Basic MS Office skills and entry-level familiarity with business applications; able to document activities accurately.

  • Compliance & technical knowledge: Ability to follow SOPs and GMP and to support tasks related to the processing of ingredients and/or pharmaceutical products.

  • Personal qualities: Quality-oriented, precise, flexible, and positive in approach.

  • Availability & responsibility: Able to work on a shift roster and take ownership of completing required training on schedule.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is 34,200 to 50.600 on an annual basis and includes 8% holiday allowance.
