Honeywell Estimator I in Leicester, United Kingdom
Responsibilities
Support the estimation process for projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather project requirements and assist in developing cost estimates
Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to assist in determining project scope and identifying potential risks
Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
Review and validate subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracy. Provide support to senior estimators and estimating managers.
Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies related to estimating
Key Skills And Qualifications
Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs. Proficiency in using estimating software and tools
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to interpret project plans, specifications, and drawings
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Excellent organizational and time management skills
