What you’ll do
Conduct safety audits and observe field activities
Coach teams on proper safety techniques and procedures
Lead toolbox talks and site-specific training
Support root cause investigations of incidents
Ensure crews are in compliance with PPE and job-specific hazards
Document observations and report non-compliance
Monitor usage of equipment and safety tools
Coordinate with supervisors to improve safety performance
Provide input on policy updates based on observations
Travel between sites to maintain regional safety presence
What you’ll need
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Construction Management, or related field experience in lieu of degree.
5+ years of safety experience in utility or telecom construction, with 2+ in a leadership role.
CSP, CHST, or OSHA certifications strongly preferred.
Proficient knowledge of OSHA, MUTCD, and telecom-specific standards (NESC, FCC, RF).
To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
Knowledge of federal and state safety regulations
Valid driver’s license; must travel to various job sites
