Robert Half Sr. Accountant - Shared Services in Lehi, Utah
Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Shared Services team in Lehi, Utah. This role focuses on managing the financial operations of the organization, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Treasury, and related functions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong accounting background, leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Treasury, and Bank Reconciliations.
• Analyze and enhance performance metrics across shared services areas to drive efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with teams across HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment of financial processes with business objectives.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including AP, AR, payroll accruals, and treasury activities.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and treasury functions to ensure financial stability.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
• Develop and implement internal controls and policies to ensure compliance and reduce financial risk.
• Mentor and guide team members, with the potential to manage direct reports as the department grows.
• Monitor payroll operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage AR and AP functions, including resolving disputes, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate records. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in finance operations, ideally within a shared services environment.
• Proven expertise in payroll, AR, AP, collections, and treasury functions.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with systems like Sage Intacct (preferred).
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with implementing Accounts Payable automation software is a plus.
• Ability to adopt a hands-on approach during financial close processes and peak cycles.
