MX Technologies Inc. DBA MX seeks Software Engineer 2 in Lehi, Utah.
Job Duties: Write product or system development code; Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies; Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (eg, style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency); Help us build and maintain a world-class technology system so we can achieve our mission of making the world financially strong; Collaborate closely with Product Managers to meet and exceed customer needs in the simplest possible ways; Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback; Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality; Actively participate in system architecture discussions and technical design reviews to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S; Position requires 10% domestic travel annually to the HQ in Lehi, Utah.
Job Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, and other closely related degrees, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, and other closely related degrees. Must have the following skills gained in any amount through work experience or coursework: Software development in Python; Database management in SQL; Data structures or algorithms; Efficiently ship maintainable and well-tested code; and Efficiently ship clean code.
