The Opportunity
Adobe Experience Platform is a modern platform that powers the next generation of Adobe Experience Cloud. It is composed of high-performance microservices that ingest, analyze, optimize, action, and govern data for leading global brands. The Trust and Governance engineering team specializes in crafting services and features directly into the product that build and retain customer trust. We develop core services around data governance, access control, encryption, consent, and similar capabilities in large-scale platforms.
What You Bring
*
3-5 years of professional software development experience and a degree in Computer Science or related field.
*
Strong object-oriented programming skills (Java preferred;Python experience, other OO languagesalso welcome).
*
Development of microservices, HTTP APIs, database interactions (SQL primarily) and testing (unit, integration and end-to-end)
*
Experience withsource control (GitHub, etc.), Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
*
Familiarity with AI-powered coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub, Copilot, ChatGPT).
*
Background in Big Datapreferred,asynchronous operations and messaging queues (Kafka, etc.), SaaS environments.
*
Experience with agile development, sprint work and timelines, CI/CD pipelines
*
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and excited to tackle complex challenges.
*
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
*
Design, build, and operatepublic-facing APIs, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and developer experience.
*
Interact and understandthe product'sdocumentationand customer use cases,supporting integrations and customer issues, including on-call rotation for support.
*
Contribute toarchitecture and technical design, balancing immediate needs with long-term platform health.
*
Solve complex problems involvinglarge-scale data processing and distributed systems,including transparency through metrics, monitoring and alerting.
*
Engage inadoptingAI-assisted development toolsto improve engineering productivity and quality.
