Job Description

• Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to architect, deliver, and maintain scalable software solutions

• Lead debugging and quality initiatives through automated testing and proactive defect resolution

• Drive infrastructure improvements, including security enhancements and cloud modernization efforts

• Estimate project scope and timelines while tracking execution and deliverables in project management systems

• Coach and upskill developers to improve technical proficiency and problem solving capabilities

• Conduct comprehensive code reviews to enforce standards, improve performance, and reduce technical debt

• Communicate effectively across departments to align engineering initiatives with business goals

Day to Day:

One of Insight Global’s clients is seeking a Software Developer to join their team. This individual will be responsible for delivering high quality, scalable software solutions while supporting the growth and success of the development team. The role includes mentoring and guiding fellow developers, helping keep projects on schedule, and collaborating closely with cross functional partners to transform ideas and designs into fully realized products. They will be involved throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from early stage ideation and pre production planning to design collaboration, development, testing, and final validation. Responsibilities will also include hands on development work and supporting other developers in translating concepts into clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Ensuring code quality, scalability, and performance will be a core focus, along with identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve systems, and enhance the overall user experience.

Skills and Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience

• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript; Node.js and React preferred

• Experience with Front-end and Backend development

• Experience working with headless architecture and CMS integrations

• Working knowledge of SQL

• Hands on experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS Pluses:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field

• Experience with GraphQL, APIs, Docker/Rancher

• Experience with Shopify/Liquid
