Resideo Senior Product Manager - Control4 Software in Lehi, Utah

The Senior Product Manager for Control4 Software reports to the Director of Product for Control4 Software and is responsible for defining, delivering, and evolving software experiences across the Control4 platform. This includes customer-facing interfaces, supporting cloud services, and core platform capabilities that enable automation, control, and connected-device experiences.

This role leads product development across distributed software systems that span devices, mobile applications, and cloud infrastructure. The Senior Product Manager partners closely with engineering, UX, and go-to-market teams to deliver cohesive experiences that are reliable, scalable, and intuitive for both integrators and end customers.

The position plays a key role in shaping product direction, managing roadmap execution, and ensuring software capabilities evolve to meet customer needs, business goals, and technology trends across the full product lifecycle

Job Duties:

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and maintain product roadmaps for assigned Control4 software experiences and platform capabilities.

  • Translate business objectives, customer needs, and technical constraints into clear product direction through voice-of-customer feedback, market insight, and data analysis.

  • Partner with engineering, UX, sales, support, and marketing to prioritize features and enhancements based on market fit, impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment.

  • Continuously evaluate market trends, competitive offerings, and platform performance to inform and guide roadmap decisions.

Product Development, Delivery & Lifecycle Management

  • Own end-to-end product delivery from concept through release, including requirements definition, backlog management, and success criteria.

  • Manage products and features throughout their full lifecycle, including launch, adoption, optimization, maintenance, and long-term evolution.

  • Collaborate with engineering and UX to design scalable, high-quality software solutions across device, application, and cloud environments.

  • Coordinate cross-functional execution to support successful product launches, including positioning, release planning, internal enablement, and go-to-market readiness.

  • Monitor post-release performance and drive iterative improvements based on usage data, feedback, and operational insights.

Data & Performance Management

  • Establish and track product metrics related to adoption, engagement, reliability, and system performance.

  • Use analytics, experimentation, and field feedback to guide prioritization and continuous improvement.

  • Identify opportunities to improve usability, operational efficiency, and product performance across the platform.

You Must Have:

  • 5+ years of product management experience in software platforms such as mobile, SaaS, or connected-device ecosystems.

  • Experience delivering complex software products across multiple platforms or system components.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision making.

  • Experience using data and analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Databricks, or comparable platforms) to evaluate product performance and inform decisions.

  • Proficiency with productivity and presentation tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, or similar business applications.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We Value:

  • Experience with smart home, IoT, or device-based software platforms.

  • Familiarity with mobile applications, cloud services, or distributed systems.

  • Experience working within Agile product development environments.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration platforms.

  • Experience supporting product launches, lifecycle planning, or platform evolution.

  • Experience with surveillance, video, or physical security technology platforms.

  • Familiarity with software release distribution and release management processes, including experience with deployment, rollout control, or feature management tools.

  • Demonstrated passion for continuous improvement and delivering high-quality customer experiences.
