Pharmacy Technician Instructor

Location: Lehi, UT

Status: Part-time

Hours: Monday – Thursday; 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Pay/Salary: $24.09/Hour

As a Pharmacy Technician Instructor, you'll play a vital role in equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to succeed in pharmacy. Reporting to the Director of Programs and Program Coordinator, you'll lead classroom and lab instruction, guide hands-on learning, and inspire future pharmacy technicians to uphold the highest standards of care.     What You'll Do:

    As a Pharmacy Technician Instructor, you'll be at the heart of student success by:

  • Delivering engaging, hands-on instruction in both classroom and lab settings.

  • Facilitating interactive lab sessions and ensuring students demonstrate competency in key skills.

  • Managing classroom and lab supplies to create a fully equipped learning environment.

  • Track daily attendance and provide monthly student performance evaluations.

  • Coaching students one-on-one through pharmacy competencies and skill validations.

  • Teaching pharmacy software, calculations, pharmacology, and pharmacy practice standards.

  • Demonstrating professionalism and serving as a role model in academic and clinical environments.

  • Participating in staff meetings, contributing to curriculum updates, and performing other program-related duties as needed.

    What We're Looking For:

  • Education Requirements: A high school diploma or the equivalent.

  • Experience: At least three years of experience as a licensed Pharmacy Technician in Utah.

  • Certification: A current National Pharmacy Technician Certification.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and Google Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).

  • Organizational Abilities: Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and organization to efficiently handle multiple responsibilities.

  • Attention to Detail: Sharp problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and effectiveness in daily tasks.
