LEGACY CENTER HEAD LIFEGUARD

PAY RANGE: $14.46 - $17.36
SCHEDULE: Various Shifts - Monday thru Saturday (Part-Time)
DEPARTMENT: Recreation
JOB SUMMARY
- This person will perform a variety of advanced poolside and water safety duties and monitor water activities to ensure safety.
- Provide close supervision of all lifeguards which will include training, supervision, and evaluations.
- Direct and perform general upkeep and custodial duties and other duties as assigned by aquatics managers.
- Works under the general supervision of the Legacy Center supervisor over aquatics and/or Aquatics Managers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduation from high school
- 2 years of aquatics experience.
- Have a current Red Cross lifeguard certification or equivalent.
- Must know the rules and regulations of the aquatics facility.
- Must have leadership skills.
- Be available to work Monday - Saturday, 4:30 am - 11 pm.
- We are looking for those who have the most availability between 4:45 am - 9 am.
- Must pass a background check and a drug test.
