Requirements

- Engineer, integrate, and sustain systems in support of theESS OTC Lab Environmentand CNIC/NIWC operational requirements.
- Support testing, configuration, and validation of systems such asLAMAS, AMAS, ALARMS, GBRS, AVG, APT, AVB, FDB, MAVB,andPSIMS.
- Design and implement reliable network communication architectures across ESS components, ensuring secure connectivity and performance optimization.
- Develop and maintaintechnical documentation, diagrams, and configuration baselinesfor ESS system integration and laboratory operations.
- Perform system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and performance tuning across interconnected ESS and enterprise networks.
- Coordinate with CNIC and NIWC stakeholders to ensure ESS laboratory systems meet engineering, security, and functional objectives.
- Support virtualization technologies used in lab environments (e.g., VMware ESXi, Hyper-V).
- Participate in test events, evaluation activities, and engineering reviews related to ESS capability upgrades and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity personnel to ensure compliance withRMF,DISA STIGs, and security posture standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degreein Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (experience may substitute for education).
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience innetwork and systems engineering, including at least 3 years supportingNavy or DoD laboratory environments.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance(or ability to obtain and maintain).
- Proven experience supportingCNICand/orNIWCengineering or integration efforts in a Navy ESS or related environment.
- Hands-on experience withLAMAS, AMAS, ALARMS, GBRS, AVG, APT, AVB, FDB, MAVB, and PSIMSsystems.
- Strong knowledge ofCisco enterprise-level infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Proficiency inrouting and switching protocols(OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), VLAN configuration, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience configuring and maintainingvirtualized systems and networked testbeds.
- Familiarity with DoD IT systems architecture, testing procedures, and accreditation processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- IAT Level II or higher certification(Security+ CE, CCNA Security, or SSCP).
- Cisco CCNP/CCIEor equivalent network certification (Juniper, Aruba, etc.).
- Familiarity withCANES, ACS, or otherNavy enterprise networks.
- Experience supportinglab-based integration, testing, and configuration controlof multiple system baselines.
- Working knowledge ofnetwork monitoring, system imaging, and configuration managementtools.
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills.

Salary Description
Range: $110K to $140K
