Our client, a leading organization in the data center and critical infrastructure industry, is seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical to join their team. As a CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical, you will be part of the Facilities Support team supporting critical electrical systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and operational excellence, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical
Location: On-site, Leesburg, VA
Pay Range: $48/hour
Shift : 12 hour shifts - Day & Night
What's the Job?
Provide escort support for third-party contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and service providers on site.
Perform routine rounds and initial assessments of equipment performance, including electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems.
Monitor the performance of maintenance and operations of critical equipment within the data center under supervision.
Assist in emergency monitoring and response to abnormal conditions, following established emergency operating procedures (EOPs).
Conduct daily operational readings of electrical equipment, including temperatures, voltages, and currents, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
What's Needed?
Previous experience working in data centers or high-availability critical infrastructure environments.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
At least 5 years of work or applied learning experience in technical fields such as electrical, controls, or related areas.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including 12-hour shifts and rotating work weeks.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
