Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical machine issues, perform emergency repairs, and execute work orders. Your role will involve cleaning and lubricating machines, communicating performance issues to supervisors, and efficiently executing changeover duties. You will also record production issues and maintain equipment to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical machine issues.
Perform emergency repairs and execute work orders.
Clean and lubricate machines as needed.
Communicate performance issues and repairs to the Group Lead or Production Supervisor.
Perform changeover duties efficiently, including mandrel changes, flame set-up, and feeder re-stacker.
Record production issues on shift reports.
Update the schedule board with equipment issues.
Maintain and clean color heads.
Essential Skills
Mechanical aptitude
Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
Knowledge of printing machines and presses
Experience with plastics injection molding
Mechanical certification
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs
Ability to perform machine maintenance and changeovers

Work Environment
Work is performed in a production environment with moderate noise levels. The role requires heavy lifting and prolonged standing. Activities include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, gripping, grasping, and repetitive arm, wrist, and shoulder movements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lees Summit, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
