What You'll Do - You'll Make the Moment
Develops strategies to support the portfolio of Workday initiatives including planning and execution of projects.
Collaborates with all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, development, performance management, succession planning and compensation to identify best practices and efficiencies and work with IT and/or third-party solution providers to implement changes.
Effectively communicates and manages Workday project stakeholders and the HRIS team across multiple levels of the organization. Communicates both status and key information to project leadership, people leaders and impacted employees by utilizing creating project plans, monitoring progress, and reporting status to stakeholders. Develops implementation strategies and monitor results to assess overall effectiveness.
Provides strategic human resource consultancy and ensures the effective delivery of policies and programs to ensure consistent best practices companywide.
Oversees the portfolio of Workday initiatives. Manages cross-functional project teams and vendors. Drives consensus and alignment with all stakeholders.
Utilizes a strong knowledge of the company’s business systems, industry standards/trends, and best practices to identify opportunities to improve business processes. Makes recommendations for tools, processes, resources to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the HR function.
Serves as the Human Resources talent process improvement leader
Deploys configuration changes. Successfully tests, implements and transitions new Workday applications, configurations and solutions to production.
Serves as a strong consultative and trusted advisor to HR Business Partners and HR COEs in service delivery
Bachelors degree required. 8-10 years in human resources, talent development, talent acquisition, or related experience.
Demonstrated experience managing and leading teams
Knowledge of restaurant, retail or hospitality industries preferred
Workday Pro Certifications Preferred
Proven project management skills
Extensive expertise and industry knowledge related to HCM, recruitment, onboarding, talent development and people processes
Strong relationship management skills functionally and cross-functionally (collaboration and influencing)
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service skills
Skilled at business process design and simulation
Creativity to propose solutions to solve problems
Strong business acumen with an ability to work with others to proactively identify business needs
Understanding of HR operations and experience in employee data management
Ability to accurately collect information in order to understand and assess the clients’ needs and situation
Strong attention to detail and strong follow up skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
