ManpowerGroup Assistant Plant Manager in Lebanon, Pennsylvania
Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Assistant Plant Manager to join their team. As a Assistant Plant Manager, you will be part of the Raw Processing Operations supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.
What's the Job?
Oversee daily operations for raw processing, takedown, and smokehouse departments to ensure smooth production flow.
Coordinate with scheduling teams to meet production schedules efficiently and effectively.
Lead and develop production supervisors and team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Ensure all operations comply with food safety, regulatory, and quality standards, maintaining a hygienic and safe environment.
Collaborate with maintenance, sanitation, purchasing, and quality assurance teams to optimize operational performance and equipment reliability.
What's Needed?
3–7 years of experience in food manufacturing or industrial production environments.
Leadership experience supervising production teams in a manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety and quality standards in a ready-to-eat or protein processing environment.
Ability to analyze production data and implement operational improvements.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and guide teams effectively.
