Duties: Install, repair, and maintain commercial low-slope and flat roofing systems, including single-ply membranes(TPO, PVC, EPDM), built-up roofing (BUR) systems, modified bitumen systems, insulation and cover boards, sheetmetal roofing, flashing, and edge details. Duties include preparing work areas by cleaning, clearing debris, and setting up safety barriers; preparing substrates, walls and roof decks for installation by ensuring surfaces are smooth, dry, and structurally sound; and assisting in the installation of extrusions, metal clips, insulation, andinstalling sheet metal flashings, edge trim, structural support members (e.g., Z purlins), and accessories. Materials to be worked with (but not limited to) include substrate boards, TPO membranes and accessories, SBS roofing materials, insulation boards, fasteners (screws and plates), sheet metal flashings, sealants, asphalt shingles, structural supports (e.g., Z purlins). May operate equipment such as manlifts, forklifts, extended boom forklifts(telehandlers), and other material hoisting equipment as required if certified.
