QPS Assembly Technician in Leawood, Kansas

Hours:6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday (Overtime 2-3 Fridays a month)

Assembly Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assemble and test production units using hand and power tools - Follow detailed blueprints, work instructions, and procedures - Calibrate assemblies to meet tolerances and product specifications - Operate drill presses, punch presses, and other production equipment - Align and connect mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic components - Install and test moving parts such as shafts, gears, and bearings - Perform drilling, tapping, grinding, and fitting of parts - Monitor product quality and report any defects or issues - Maintain production schedules to meet daily output goals - Pack finished products and prepare pallets for shipment - Maintain a clean and organized workspace (5S standards) - Report part shortages and assist in maintaining inventory levels (kanban) - Train and support team members as needed - Perform additional duties as assigned

Assembly Technician Requirements: - High school diploma or GED - Ability to read and write in English (bilingual a plus) - Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred - Comfortable standing in a small workspace for 10-hour shifts
