Workers will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092\ Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Record information\ about crops such as pesticide use, yields, or costs; Repair and maintain farm vehicles,\ implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation\ equipment; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery,\ and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as combine, grain\ cart to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as\ corn, cotton, peanuts; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or\ trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and\ landscaping; Maintain inventory; Haul and spread topsoil, fertilizer, and other materials to\ condition soil; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery;\ Attach implements using hand tools. Must be able to speak and understand English.
Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in\ working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and\ utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals.\ Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will\ provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can\ purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.
