Job Title: Janitorial Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Janitorial Worker to perform daily cleaning tasks according to the Master Sanitation and Deep Cleaning Schedules. You will ensure that all areas of the plant, including break rooms, locker rooms, offices, and corridors, are cleaned safely and efficiently. This role requires you to organize and maintain janitorial supplies, comply with Quality Assurance policies, and assist with pest control monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks per the Master Sanitation and Deep Cleaning Schedules.

  • Work safely and efficiently in all plant areas including break rooms, locker rooms, offices, and corridors.

  • Ensure work area and janitorial supplies are properly organized and maintained.

  • Understand and comply with all Quality Assurance policies and report any potential food safety issues to management.

  • Complete necessary paperwork to meet all documentation requirements.

  • Assist in executing and monitoring the pest control program.

  • Complete non-routine cleaning/sanitation tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in janitorial tasks and general cleaning and sanitation of equipment and building.

  • Ability to conduct inspections and perform sanitization tasks effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of experience in cleaning and sanitation.

Work Environment

The work environment primarily involves cooler conditions, but temperatures can reach up to 90 degrees in production areas. Employees must wear a hair net, lab coat, gloves, and booties while cleaning in the factory. Uniforms will be provided for daily use, and steel-toe footwear is required each day.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Le Sueur, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.42 - $17.42/hr.
