Hours: 45 hours/week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hours/day, Sat. 5 hours/day. 7:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.

Job Duties: On farms, we erect agricultural buildings for the poultry industry. Our work includes erecting structural wood framing, along with the installation of wall and roof systems such as metal panels, insulation, trim, doors, and related assemblies. Materials are delivered to the site and unloaded by our crews, using telehandlers. When we arrive on site, the concrete foundations and slabs are already poured. We do not perform trenching, concrete placement, plumbing, or electrical work.
Our crews use standard construction tools and equipment. Primary equipment includes telehandlers, boom lifts, and scissor lifts. Hand and power tools include drills, impact drivers, circular saws, reciprocating saws, grinders, nail guns, squares, levels, measuring tapes, and basic hand tools such as hammers and wrenches. All work is performed in accordance with project plans, safety requirements, and applicable safety standards.
Employer maintains a drug, and alcohol-free workplace. Post-hire drug testing is required at no cost to the worker.
Employer requires a post-hire criminal background check at no cost to the worker.
Minimum Education Required
No High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum Experience Required
One (1) month of ag construction work or experience with wood framing required.
Worker must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds/75 yards.
Workers must be able to work on their feet in bent, stooped and crouched positions and on ladders up to ten (10) feet in height for long periods of time.
Worker must be able to perform work that requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing or pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements.

Additional Compensation
Merit based bonuses may be given. Higher hourly rate may be given based on experience, tenure, skill, and other non-discriminatory factors.
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
