Description
Perform technical analysis related to systems design and development Derive and allocate system or subsystem requirements and implement verification and validation Conduct tasks associated with systems engineering life cycle and the DoD design review process Utilize model-based systems engineering (MBSE) techniques Support systems analysis (e.g., discrete event simulation) with simulation techniques Follow, perform, and record the results of the execution of a test plan Exercise judgment to make recommendations on technical alternatives, component design or selection, and/or adaptation to meet assigned requirements Demonstrate proficiency in technical writing including white papers, customer deliverable documents, etc. Collaborate with leadership at all levels Lead technical reviews and meetings, internal and external Perform duties under supervision of staff and chief engineers Mentor less experienced engineers Other duties as assigned This position is contingent upon contract award.
Requirements
Education/Training:
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required
Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
- Radar systems experience, active or passive, preferred
- Familiarity with a range of systems engineering tools - Cameo experience preferred
- Background in developing and/or testing aircraft and/or military components preferred
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
