April's School House Full-Time Teacher's Aide in Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania
Location: Lawrenceville, PA Schedule: Monday -- Friday | 7:15 AM -- 4:30 PM Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher's Aide to support our toddler and pre-kindergarten classrooms. The ideal candidate will assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities, help maintain a safe and nurturing environment, and engage children in age-appropriate learning and play.
Key Responsibilities:
Support teachers in the daily care and supervision of children in the toddler/pre-K room
Assist with preparing materials and setting up activities
Supervise children during play, meals, and rest periods
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
Foster positive interactions and model respectful behavior
Communicate effectively with children, staff, and families
Follow all center policies and licensing regulations
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED required
Clearances required prior to start date:
FBI Criminal Background Check
PA State Police Criminal Record Check
PA Child Abuse Clearance
National Sex Offender Registry Verification
Current Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification (must be valid)
Two (2) written professional references
Preferred Qualities:
Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
Patient, dependable, and enthusiastic about early childhood development
Team-oriented with strong communication skills
