Description We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in financial analysis and modeling to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong analytical mindset and a proven ability to manage complex financial data.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast performance and support strategic planning.
• Perform variance analyses to assess budget versus actual performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Execute ad hoc financial analyses to address specific business questions or challenges.
• Utilize data mining techniques to extract and analyze large data sets for business insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data and provide recommendations.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders to facilitate decision-making.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data by implementing quality checks and audits.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing data-driven insights.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance financial analysis processes. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced analytical techniques.
• Strong understanding of variance analysis and its application in business planning.
• Experience conducting ad hoc financial analyses to address specific business needs.
• Expertise in data mining techniques to work with large and complex data sets.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
• Excellent communication skills for preparing reports and presenting findings.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
