Role Overview
Sodexo Magic is seeking a Unit Food Safety Manager to support a pharmaceutical client across multiple locations. This resource role is responsible for overseeing food safety programs across 7 sites, ensuring consistent compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards. You will serve as a subject matter expert, partnering with site teams to drive best practices in food handling, storage, temperature control, and sanitation. This position requires regular site visits, audits, and hands-on support to identify risks and implement corrective actions. A key focus of the role is not only enforcing standards, but also educating teams on the “why” behind food safety practices to build a strong culture of accountability. This is a highly visible role requiring strong communication, training, and auditing expertise.

What You'll Do
Conduct routine site visits across 7 locations to audit food safety practices and ensure compliance with standards
Oversee food safety processes including temperature control, storage, sanitation, cooling/holding procedures, and quality control
Perform risk assessments and identify opportunities for continuous improvement across all sites
Lead monthly and annual food safety audits, ensuring readiness and compliance at all times
Develop and deliver training programs to educate teams on food safety standards and the “why” behind them
Partner with site leadership to implement corrective actions and strengthen overall food safety culture

What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in food safety, food science, hospitality, or related field
Proven experience in food safety management across multiple locations or large-scale operations
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and audit processes
Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews
Excellent communication and training skills with the ability to influence and educate teams
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple sites and priorities in a dynamic environment
Spanish-speaking skills strongly preferred, with the ability to effectively communicate and train diverse teams across multiple locations
