Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems on Thermoforming equipment.
Responsibilities
Inspect and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems on Thermoforming equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance procedures.
Locate parts required for repairs or projects.
Stay aware of all work performed on machines and machine performance.
Maintain neat and orderly shop areas and areas as jobs are done at machines.
Take control of a machine when a situation arises that has the potential for personal injury or rapid deterioration of the machine.
Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for department personnel.
Monitor the team and provide coaching as needed.
Complete work assigned by Shift Lead or Leadership Group.
Communicate activities with Group Leadership and other members of the department.
Obtain parts on a daily basis and in emergency cases.
Assist in other departments as requested by the Leadership Group.
Continue education and training to stay current with job requirements.
Wear proper PPE for tasks at all times and maintain PPE and company tools.
Enforce all HAACP, GMP, Safety rules, and department guidelines.
Essential Skills
- Experience in maintenance technician roles, focusing on mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and industrial repairs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic aptitude.
Responsible for work performed.
Dependable and motivated with a good work history.
Ability to participate in an apprenticeship program.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Good reading comprehension and math skills.
Must provide own required tools.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work around grease, oils, inks, and solvents, climb ladders, and stand, walk, bend, or stoop through an entire shift.
Good manual dexterity and 20/20 vision with correction to detect minor defects.
Ability to differentiate colors.

Work in a climate-controlled production environment within the Thermoforming Department.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60320.00 - $68640.00/yr.
