Job Description
Join our team as a Class A CDL Driver, responsible for safely moving trailers and containers between yard locations and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines. You will play a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Safely move trailers and containers between yard locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of yard trucks and trailers.
Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.
Ensure compliance with applicable Federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules standards and guidelines.
Detect, eliminate, or minimize safety hazards.
Maintain accurate records and logs.
Essential Skills
Valid Class A CDL.
Minimum of one year of CDL-A driving experience.
Knowledge and understanding of DOT regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in conducting inspections and maintaining accurate records.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and guidelines.

Work Environment
As a Yard Driver, you will operate between two plants approximately 5 miles apart. The role offers a choice of shifts, including a 2nd Shift (3:30 PM to Midnight) with a $0.75/hour shift differential and a 3rd Shift (5 PM to 3:30 AM) with a $1/hour shift differential. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, with overtime available.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52977.00 - $53497.00/yr.
