Bailey Manufacturing Co., LLC Tool and Die Maker 1st shift in Laurinburg, North Carolina
Description of Duties:
- Repairs and modifies tooling to support production Builds fixtures for new production jobs
- Performs preventative maintenance work on progressive dies
- Provides problem-solving input from a tooling standpoint
- Completes all company required documentation and procedures for preventive maintenance and tooling activities
- Has the authority to stop production from running should if Tool Maker feels there is bad product from being produced or there is a safety issue with die or its components
- Follow all company safety policies (e.g. Lockout, tagout, etc.)
- Shall inform tooling lead of any perishable tools/blocks that may be required form working on dies both repair and preventive maintenance
- Must adhere to Safety Standards and wear proper Personal Protective Equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Experience Required
- High School Diploma (or equivalent), Formal Training in Tool and Die Repair
- Prior experience working with Tool and Die
- Above-average Math Skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 30lbs
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Have knowledge of GDandT
Schedule: Monday-Friday 1st shift (7:30AM-4:00PM)
