Bailey Manufacturing Co., LLC Quality Inspector 1st shift in Laurinburg, North Carolina
Description of Duties:
- Performs in-process inspections and visual inspections
- Records inspection findings in the SPC System
- Reviews Quality Control Worksheets to ensure that all data is being recorded properly
- Takes necessary actions to stop production should parameters of process, visual defects or nonconforming product be identified
- Participates in internal sorts of nonconforming product Ensures that the "First-In, First-Out" (FIFO) concept is being used by all departments for inventory rotation
- May perform some duties outside theses listed depending upon special situation or workload
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
- Must adhere to Safety Standards and wear proper Personal Protective Equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience working in manufacturing environment
- Experience using measuring equipment
- Prior experience in Quality Control and familiarity with ISO and TS standards preferred but not necessary
- Ability to follow instructions
Schedule: Monday-Friday; 1st 7:30AM-4:00PM
