We are looking for a Supervisor of Food and Nutrition Services for our MountainView Hospital team where excellence creates excellence.
This position will operate on a rotating schedule of Morning ( 4am-1pm) and Evening (2:00 PM- 10:30 PM) shifts, with Rotating Weekends.

Job Summary and Qualifications
You will lead and supervise the operations and activities of the Food and Nutrition Services Department within your assigned hospital and hospital department locations
You will provide consistent, high-quality service in a sanitary environment while ensuring State, Local, Federal and Joint Commission regulations, established policies and procedures and department standards of performance are met
You will demonstrate knowledge and ensures compliance with all current policies, procedures and regulatory standards (TJC, OSHA, EEOC and others) within all food and nutritional services areas
You will provide support for the preparation of department records as well as recurring and special reports and analyses indicating number and types of regular and therapeutic diets prepared, nutritional and caloric analyses of meals, food and labor costs, sanitation irregularities, menus, food production rates and so forth as required/ requested
You will support full and timely compliance with staff development to include training and education, competency assessment and performance reviews, as assigned and provide for a well-trained and competent staff through supervision and coordination in relation to all departmental activities, as assigned
You will monitor the purchase of supplies, food, equipment and other supplies to meet the needs of assigned hospital and hospital/department campus , and enforce department productivity to assigned goals and objectives to maximize operational efficiency, optimum use of resources and cost minimization
What qualifications you will need:
High School Diploma Required
Minimum of three years’ experience in food services or hospitality Required
Knowledge of hospital and health care operations Preferred
Knowledge of hospital and health care financial metrics Preferred
Minimum of one-year experience in supervisory position Preferred
Credentials Preferred: Culinary Certificates, ServSafe Certification
State Food Handler Card, or Equivalent required within 30 days of hire
