Job Description
We are seeking an experienced welder to join our team. This full-time position is located on the 1st shift, from 6am to 2:30pm. Your primary role will involve the setup and operation of metal inert gas (MIG) and tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding on steel and aluminum. You will also be required to use standard hand tools, overhead cranes, and fork trucks for material handling and manipulation of product components. You will be expected to wear appropriate safety and protective equipment and maintain a safe and clean work area.
Responsibilities
Setup and operate MIG and TIG welding equipment for steel and aluminum.
Use standard hand tools, overhead cranes, and fork trucks for material handling.
Report labor hours via electronic scanner.
Identify and discard non-conforming materials.
Assist other personnel and conduct inventory cycle counts.
Wear appropriate safety and protective equipment.
Maintain a safe and clean work area.
Essential Skills
3-5 years of experience in MIG welding.
Ability to work with blueprints.
Experience with tubing and high beams.
Experience working with steel and other metals.
Proficiency in using overhead cranes and fork trucks.
Ability to report labor hours electronically.
Experience in inventory cycle counting.

Work Environment
You will be working in a metal shop manufacturing company in Las Vegas, Nevada, comprised of approximately 25 people. The work environment involves a large warehouse building with mostly individual work cells dedicated to welding and painting tasks. The position requires standing for extended periods and the use of overhead cranes and fork trucks for lifting materials exceeding 30 pounds. Work is performed under some temperature variation due to annual seasonality

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, NV.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
