Job Summary and Qualifications
You will ensure high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department
You will monitor and evaluate the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/ procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objective
You will facilitate effective interdisciplinary care coordination within and across departments and ensure staff with appropriate clinical competencies are assigned to meet patient care needs
You will manage nursing practice and unit operations; monitor and evaluate the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/ procedures to ensure patient and family needs are assessed and met
You will provide leadership in attaining and sustaining an unparalleled patient experience and instill accountability for providing consistent, positive patient interactions that differentiate the organization as a healthcare leader
You will identify development opportunities or training needs of individual employees and teams and provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance
What qualifications you will need:
Associate's Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Current license as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation
2+ years applicable experience required
BLS, ACLS required
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) required
Nationally recognized nursing certification (12 Months - New hire/ transfer must obtain within specified time frame. Required to work under credentialed RN until training certification obtained)
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field within 2 years of hire/ promotion required
