CBRE Utilities Coordinator & Planner in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico

About the Role:

The Coordinator plays a keyrole in providing leadership and expertise to support the Technical Supervisorand Workplace Senior Manager (FM) in delivering an exceptional reactive andplanned maintenance service. This position requires a higher level of technicalproficiency, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead initiatives to enhanceservice quality.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide leadership in ensuring strict compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality, and any other applicable regulation, driving a culture of safety excellence.

  • Lead and conduct comprehensive risk assessments for reactive and planned maintenance tasks, setting safety standards and organizing for the team.

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and championing best practices.

  • Demonstrate advanced electrical, metrology, utilities and automation competency, including proficiency, overseeing maintenance, fault finding, troubleshooting and installation activities.

  • Lead and supervise general Mechanical PPM, Corrective and Reactive tasks, providing guidance to junior technicians.

  • Lead and manage small works projects, collaborating with the technical supervisor and the projects and construction team.

  • Ensure all repairs and installations meet the highest standards of compliance with current regulations.

  • Lead in measuring, working to plans (method statements), interpreting technical diagrams, and effectively communicating technical information.

  • Oversee project handovers and 'snagging' of new installations, ensuring electrical systems are optimized for functionality and ease of maintenance.

  • Conduct regular strategic reviews of building systems, proposing enhancements to optimize efficiency and reduce operational costs.

  • Lead the team in managing sub-contracted services, ensuring exceptional standards are maintained and aligned with client guidelines.

  • Take a lead role in monitoring services and suppliers, ensuring strict adherence to SLA’s & KPI’s.

  • Act as a mentor and role model, upholding core values of CBRE and fostering a culture of service excellence.

What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.

  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $125,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $150,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend’s applicable benefit program.
