Tresco Physical Therapist Assistant in Las Cruces, New Mexico

Position Summary:

Were looking for adedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTAwhos passionate about early childhood development and making a real difference. You'll help children reach their physical potential through individualized therapy programs and age-appropriate techniques. This is more than a jobits a mission!


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support implementation of personalized therapeutic plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Assist in helping children improve motor function and physical capabilities
  • Provide center-based and home-based services
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in required training
  • Work professionally with colleagues, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Support a positive and inclusive environment for all children and families
  • Travel locally/statewide as needed to deliver services
  • Follow all safety, health, and documentation procedures

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program

  • Licenses/Certifications:License or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant with the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department: New Mexico Physical Therapy Board and work under the supervision of a licensed PT.

  • Background Checks:

    • General Background Check
    • NM Department of Health Fingerprinting
    • Driving Record (MVR) (Other federal-level clearances not required for this position)
