- Two (2) years of experience
- Experience as a MIG / TIG Welder
- Welding certification
Preferred:
- Experience welding thin to medium-gauge metals preferred
- Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent)
- Fabrication or shop welding experience
- Experience in manufacturing or metal services environment
Skill:
- Ability to read blueprints and welding specifications
- Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices
- Ability to pass a weld test
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Required Screenings: Drug Testing/Screening; Background Checks.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled MIG / TIG Welder to join our fabrication team. This role is responsible for welding and fabricating metal components to precise specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with both MIG and TIG welding processes and takes pride in producing clean, accurate welds.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work orders
- Set up welding equipment, select proper materials, and adjust settings as needed
- Fabricate, fit, and weld metal parts and assemblies
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, strength, and accuracy
- Use hand tools, grinders, saws, and other fabrication equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines
