Saint-Gobain Regional Purchasing Manager in LARGO, Florida
The Regional Purchasing Manager leads a team supporting multiple sites while directly managing procurement for Largo, FL. The role ensures strategic alignment, policy compliance, and efficient purchasing operations across the region. This position drives vendor management, negotiations, bidding, contract oversight, and spend optimization while advancing cost savings and strategic sourcing. It also strengthens digital tool adoption and maintains adherence to corporate and global standards. The Manager develops purchasing staff, improves service to internal stakeholders, and leads continuous improvement efforts in close partnership with plant operations and BU leadership to ensure coordinated, value‑driven procurement across all assigned sites.

The ideal candidate for this Manager role holds a bachelor's degree (preferred) or brings a minimum of five years of proven experience in Procurement, Leadership, or Project Management. This position requires a proactive, highly organized, and analytical leader capable of overseeing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. The Manager must excel under pressure, drive continuous improvement, and lead diverse teams through change with confidence and clarity. The role demands sound judgment, strict confidentiality, and strong prioritization abilities to effectively manage procurement needs across multiple internal stakeholders. Exceptional communication and professional interpersonal skills are essential for representing the company in daily interactions with internal teams, external vendors, customers, and visitors. A service‑oriented mindset, customer sensitivity, and the ability to maintain a confident, polished presence are critical to success in this leadership position.
