Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is hiring a Operations Program Manager (OPM) to support the Largo, FL Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC). The OPM is responsible for supporting the overall manufacturing operations for a large program or suite of programs within a product line portfolio. They are expected to oversee and coordinate all operational aspects of ongoing programs and serves as a liaison between program management, project team, and factory management. The OPM will make strategic decisions for the direction of the program related to financial performance and manufacturing plans. The OPM should have a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of production including a thorough understanding of manufacturing related policies/procedures/practices, manufacturing quality standards, and DOD requirements.
What You Will Do
• Execution of total program life cycle from bid/proposal through development/EDM, transition to deliver, production, and depot/sustainment
• Work on Program Planning, Capacity Analysis, Schedule Management, Resource Planning, and Manufacturing Execution
• Lead cost/process improvement initiatives
• Coordinate material management activities with Supply Chain
• Monitor and control budget: Cost Account Manager (CAM), Estimate at Complete (EAC) development, analysis, and presentation, understanding and use of Earned Value Management (EVM), and risk and opportunity management
• Interface with both internal and external customers at Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Gates, EACs, Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and customer visits/tours
Qualifications You Must Have
• Experience leading in an operations, manufacturing, program, cross-functional, or equivalent environment
• Experience generating EACs, providing cost variance analysis, and managing risk and opportunities
• Effective communicator, able to develop relationships and work with personnel at all organizational levels, functional stakeholders, and internal/external customers
• Demonstrated initiative, perseverance, and creativity in problem solving, strategic planning, project and deadline administration, and utilization of business system resources
• Flexibility and agility to work in an undefined development environment where processes and procedures may not always exist
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Ability to manipulate and process reports and work artifacts with large amount of data
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance within 1 year of start date
• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Qualifications We Prefer
• Familiarity with manufacturing and data analytics tools such as PRISM/APEX, CMES, Kinaxis, and PowerBi
• Familiarity with documentation systems such as Common PDM to validate As-Built configurations, alternates, ECNs, and change history
• Familiarity with Supply Chain Management practices

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
