Associate Material Handler – Largo, FL (Onsite)
Pay: $16.00/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 3:24 PM – 11:54 PM (2nd Shift)
Job Type: Contract / Temp-to-Hire
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Associate Material Handler to join our warehouse team in Largo, FL. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for candidates looking to build a career in logistics and distribution. In this role, you will support daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
Key Responsibilities
Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately from inventory
Receive and distribute materials to support production and other departments
Process incoming purchase receipts and maintain accurate inventory records
Organize and store materials to maximize efficiency and workflow
Transport materials between buildings as needed
Assist with cycle counts and monthly inventory activities
Replenish stock in primary inventory locations
Operate forklifts, man-up/order picker equipment, and other material handling tools (must be comfortable working at heights)
Support mailroom operations, including internal deliveries and outgoing shipments
Maintain 6S standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
Cross-train and assist team members as needed
What We’re Looking For
Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required
Ability to perform basic math (counts, weights, measurements, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
Willingness to rotate across different warehouse functions
Work Environment & Expectations
Must follow all safety policies and procedures
Ability to work scheduled overtime as needed
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted
Ability to stand and be active for up to 8 hours per shift
